Best time to come to playa venao

Playa Venao is an incredible place at any time of year

Weather

There are two seasons here—wet and dry. Thanks to the mountains in the center of the country, the Pacific coast has roughly two times less rainfall than the northern Caribbean coast.

Summer

In Playa Venao, the dry season is hot, windy, and partly cloudy; and it is oppressive year round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 75°F to 86°F and is rarely below 73°F or above 88°F. The best time of year to visit Playa Venao for hot-weather activities is from late December to late April

''Winter''

During this season it may rain only a short time or all day and there may be a storm, particularly in October and November. It’s definitely a bit cooler, but there is not a drastic change in temperature from the dry season

  • Waterfall season—June to November
  • Whales—July to October
  • Sea turtles—October to November
